For registrations submitted by September 11th, we will automatically display the first name on the bib number, below the numeric digits.

We can deviate from this only upon the participant’s specific request. For online registrations, please enter the text „NEM KÉREK” (meaning „I DO NOT WISH”) in the designated section for the inscription on the bib. There is an option to have a different inscription (e.g., a nickname) instead of the first name on the bib, but it must not exceed 12 characters in length. This request must be indicated during the registration process. Only participants who explicitly request an alternative inscription will have it displayed; the default is to use the first name. For those registrants who use their spouse’s surname with the „-né” suffix, please provide your first name. We are unable to include image characters or emoticons. Space for the name inscription under the numeric digits on the bib will be reserved for participants who register later.

You can find the list of already registered participants and the starting list here.

Upon entering the starting area, they need to sign a declaration that they will not overtake the lead motorbike while following the rules. However, until a designated point on the route has been finalized, they must follow directly behind the lead motorbike, then continue at their own pace towards the finish line.
  • Wheelchair athletes and handbike participants with assistance: They can position themselves in the designated area according to the provided pacing. A penalty of 10 minutes may be imposed on any participant who folds their bib number, covers it, or does not wear it visibly during the race.
  • Exclusion may apply to participants who, despite multiple warnings, violate the bib number wearing rule, fail to complete the full course as designated by the organizers, provide inaccurate or incomplete information on the registration form, or misuse the timing chip.
  • For the safety of themselves and fellow runners, it is not recommended for participants to listen to music or use any audio device simultaneously in both ears while completing the course.

  • A participant accompanied by a cyclist or inline skater can be disqualified from the race.

To send packages to the gear check located at the finish area, you can use the nearby truck, which will depart to the finish area at 10:00 AM. There will be no opportunity for package drop-off after this time.

Gear Check: We will set up the gear check tents on the grassy area next to the northern block of ELTE Lágymányosi Campus. In the tents, you can drop off your packages according to bib number ranges, which will be indicated by signs. Place the gear check ribbon at the bottom of your bib number. The runner should detach this ribbon from the bib number beforehand and secure it to the package using the safety pin provided in the race package, so it doesn’t fall off. It’s recommended to fold the ribbon along the perforation for easier detachment. You can leave your package in the designated area in front of the tent with ropes, no need to wait for the organizer at the tent to receive it. Our colleagues will distribute the packages after you finish, according to the bib number.

  • Individual refreshment drop-off will be available on-site at the event center, on October 15th, no later than 45 minutes before the start.

  • At the refreshment stations along the route, we will provide 1 cubic meter collection containers primarily for collecting empty cups. You will find these containers on both sides of the route, following the last refreshment table.

  • The last container will be placed 50 meters after the end of the station, and this will be indicated by a separate sign. Please make sure to dispose of any waste from the refreshment station into this container.

  • Any waste generated along the route should not be scattered. Please place it in the containers provided at the refreshment stations.

  • At the refreshment stations, we will not hand you cups filled with water or isotonic drinks. You are responsible for taking these from the tables yourself. Under no circumstances should you place used, empty cups back onto the refreshment tables!

  • Refreshment stations can often pose challenges. Do not attempt to squeeze between two runners for a quick drink or snack. Adhere to basic etiquette during the race as well. Wait your turn and remember that there are often fewer people towards the end of the station. Take only what you need, as there may be runners behind you who need refreshments even more.

  • If weather conditions warrant, we may set up additional temporary water stations along the route.

  • After crossing the finish line, you can collect your medal first, followed by your finisher’s package.

According to the marathon cut-off time.

The sweep bus follows the pace of the runners who are expected to complete the marathon within 5 hours and 30 minutes. Those who are overtaken by the sweep bus must board it, their race number will be marked, and they will not be allowed to enter the finish area.

The timing provider is AGNI-Timing.

The timing is done using UHF chips attached to the back of the bib number. Please read the information about chip usage!

Bib Number Wearing Rules: The timing is conducted through timing mats (antennas) placed on the ground, which detect the signal transmitter placed on the bib number from a distance of approximately 2-3 meters. The timestamp is recorded when the strongest signal is detected (when passing over the mat).

To ensure successful recording of individual times, please observe the following rules:

The bib number must be worn visibly throughout the race, on the abdomen/chest area. (Bib belt holders are allowed.) Covering or concealing the bib number is prohibited. Do not remove, fold, or pierce the chip located on the back of the bib number. Everyone should ensure that they wear their own bib number during the race. After crossing the finish line, please leave the timing point as soon as possible

1st-3rd place male and female runners 1st-3rd place male and female wheelchair and handbike participants The award ceremony will be based on the finishing order (gross time) of the participants. The results published on the website (based on net time) may show different rankings.

The winner of the 30 km race is the participant who completes the course in accordance with the rules and crosses the finish line first. Therefore, we kindly ask those participants who are aiming for rankings to start in the first starting time slot, as the rankings will be determined based on the order of crossing the finish line. If someone starts later, even with a better time, they may not be awarded a prize.

AFTER YOU FINISHED

The results will be continuously updated on the results list following the participants’ arrival at the finish line.

Participants without a placement number will appear on the results list if they do not have times recorded at one of the route checkpoints. Those who received a 10-minute time penalty for improper bib number wearing will have an asterisk (*) next to their name.
