For registrations submitted until September 11th, the first name will automatically be displayed on the race bib under the race number.

We can only deviate from this if the participant specifically requests it. In the case of online registrations, in the section where the inscription to appear on the bib is provided, please enter the text „NEM KÉREK,” meaning „I DO NOT WISH,” to indicate this preference.

There is an option to replace the first name with another inscription (e.g., nickname) on the race bib, but it should not exceed 12 characters in length. This preference must be indicated when submitting the registration. Only those participants who request this will have an inscription other than their first name on the bib; otherwise, the first name will be automatically used.

For participants who bear their husband’s name with the „-né” extension, please provide your first name.

Please note that we are unable to display image characters or emoticons.

Space will be left below the race number on the bib for the name inscription for participants who register later.

You can find the list of already registered participants and the starting list here.

They should position themselves on the side of the starting gate facing the route, no later than 5 minutes before the start.
  • Upon entering the start, they are required to sign a declaration that, while adhering to the rules, they will not overtake the lead motorbike. They will begin 1 minute before the official start, accompanied by the lead motorbike, and are required to follow behind the lead motorbike until a designated point along the route. From there, they can continue at their own pace to the finish line.
  • Wheelchair athletes and handbike participants who complete the course with assistance can position themselves in the zone corresponding to the pace they indicated during registration. A participant who folds or covers their race number, making it not clearly visible during the race, may receive a 10-minute time penalty.
  • Participants who repeatedly violate the race number wearing rule, do not complete the designated course set by the organizers, provide inaccurate or incomplete information on the registration form, or misuse the chip, may face disqualification. It is not recommended for runners to use music or other devices with both earbuds inserted while running, as this may obstruct communication with fellow runners and organizers.

  • Any commercial and advertising activities at the event venue require prior authorization from BSI and must be conducted in agreed forms and manners. Dressing area tents will be set up at the starting line.

Bags that you wish to be transported to the finish area’s wardrobe must be handed over to the waiting truck near the dressing area. The truck will depart for the finish area at 10:00, and there will be no further opportunity for bag drop-off.

The women’s dressing room will also be in the same building. The entrance will be through the doors on the side of the building opposite the Danube.

You can deposit your bags in the tents based on your race number range, which will be indicated with signs. Place the wardrobe tape at the bottom of your race number. The runner should detach the tape from the race number beforehand and securely attach it to the bag using the provided safety pin so that it doesn’t fall off. It’s advisable to fold the tape multiple times along the perforation for easier detachment. You can drop off your bag only at the tent corresponding to your race number range, but you don’t need to wait for the organizer to take it from you. You can independently place the bag in the designated area within the tent’s boundaries. After reaching the finish line, our colleagues will distribute the bags according to the race numbers.

  • At the refreshment stations along the route, we will provide 1 cubic meter collection containers primarily for collecting empty cups. You will find these containers on both sides of the route, following the last refreshment table.

  • The last container will be placed 50 meters after the end of the station, and this will be indicated by a separate sign. Please make sure to dispose of any waste from the refreshment station into this container.

  • Any waste generated along the route should not be scattered. Please place it in the containers provided at the refreshment stations.

  • At the refreshment stations, we will not hand you cups filled with water or isotonic drinks. You are responsible for taking these from the tables yourself. Under no circumstances should you place used, empty cups back onto the refreshment tables!

  • Refreshment stations can often pose challenges. Do not attempt to squeeze between two runners for a quick drink or snack. Adhere to basic etiquette during the race as well. Wait your turn and remember that there are often fewer people towards the end of the station. Take only what you need, as there may be runners behind you who need refreshments even more.

  • If weather conditions warrant, we may set up additional temporary water stations along the route.

  • After crossing the finish line, you can collect your medal first, followed by your finisher’s package.

According to the marathon cut-off time.

The sweep bus follows the pace of the runners who are expected to complete the marathon within 5 hours and 30 minutes. Those who are overtaken by the sweep bus must board it, their race number will be marked, and they will not be allowed to enter the finish area.

The timing provider is AGNI-Timing.

The timing is done using UHF chips attached to the back of the bib number. Please read the information about chip usage!

Bib Number Wearing Rules: The timing is conducted through timing mats (antennas) placed on the ground, which detect the signal transmitter placed on the bib number from a distance of approximately 2-3 meters. The timestamp is recorded when the strongest signal is detected (when passing over the mat).

To ensure successful recording of individual times, please observe the following rules:

The bib number must be worn visibly throughout the race, on the abdomen/chest area. (Bib belt holders are allowed.) Covering or concealing the bib number is prohibited. Do not remove, fold, or pierce the chip located on the back of the bib number. Everyone should ensure that they wear their own bib number during the race. After crossing the finish line, please leave the timing point as soon as possible

1st-3rd place male and female competitors 1st-3rd place male and female wheelchair and handbike competitors

The awards ceremony is based on the order of arrival at the finish line (gross time). The results list available on the website (based on net time) may display different rankings.

The winner of the 21 km race is the one who completes the distance according to the rules and crosses the finish line first. Therefore, we ask competitors aiming for top placements to start in the first wave, as rankings are determined by the order of crossing the finish line. If someone starts later, even with a better time, they might not receive an award.

AFTER YOU FINISHED

The results will be continuously updated on the results list following the participants’ arrival at the finish line.

Participants without a placement number will appear on the results list if they do not have times recorded at one of the route checkpoints. Those who received a 10-minute time penalty for improper bib number wearing will have an asterisk (*) next to their name.
