- At the event, prepared runners, wheelchair users, handbikers, and those running with baby strollers are welcome to participate, provided they accept the event information and registration conditions.
- Every participant is required to visibly and fully wear their race number from the front, even when using a top. The use of triathlon-style race number fasteners is allowed.
- A participant who repeatedly violates the race number wearing rule, even after multiple warnings, can be disqualified. Also, a participant who does not complete the entire distance designated by the organizers or who inaccurately fills out the registration form with incorrect or incomplete information may be excluded from the race.
- For the safety and consideration of oneself and fellow runners, it is not recommended to use any audio or entertainment devices with both earpieces during the race. Event organizers, medical teams, and support staff work in the field, and the use of headphones can hinder communication and awareness of surroundings.
- Skating, cycling, running without a bib number, and running with a dog are prohibited in the race. A runner accompanied by a cyclist or rollerblader may be disqualified from the race.
- We do not provide storage for valuables at the event location.
- Any commercial and promotional activity at the event location can only be conducted with prior approval from BSI, in agreed-upon forms and manners.
- For organizational reasons, BSI reserves the right to limit the number of participants and close registration at any time.
- BSI reserves the right to change the route, program, and schedule of the event.

38th SPAR Budapest Marathon® Festival, Saturday Distances, Further Useful Information:
On the Race Day: Always pay attention to the event’s loudspeaker announcements! Some things may change or modify on the race day, and this is the way we can inform you. On the race day, a loudspeaker will be operating around the finish area, solely for announcing official race communications. It is not intended for runners seeking lost relatives or friends.
Meeting Point: At the race center, we will set up visible ‘Meeting Point’ signs from afar, so that fellow runners, schoolmates, relatives, and supporters can find each other around them. If you came to the race with a group or class, this is a reliable spot to reunite even in the midst of a large crowd. Before the start, coordinate with fellow runners and supporters to determine the exact meeting place after the race.
Information: You can meet a dedicated information team at every event, who can help you not only with the specific race but also guide you about other BSI events. If you’re interested in details about other BSI races or want to register for further running or walking distances throughout the year, you’ll find the BSI Information Tent near the Race Center.
Lost Children: For children who have become separated from their parents in the hustle and bustle of the event, you can get information at the Information Tent. Please reach out to them for assistance, rather than the staff working at the main stage. If you find a lost child, lead them to the Information Tent. Beforehand, you can request a wristband at the Information Tent, on which you can write the mobile number to call if you find a lost child. After writing the phone number, place the wristband on the child’s wrist!
Runner’s Etiquette:
Arrive on time! – To avoid queuing at the race center and dressing rooms, have time to meet long-lost friends or encounter new acquaintances and fellow runners.
Don’t let a runner without a bib number run alongside you who hasn’t registered for the race! It’s not fair to those who paid to participate.
If you’re running with a few other participants, don’t block the entire width of the road. If you hear someone coming to overtake, step aside as soon as possible and let them pass.
Please maintain cleanliness in the race center area and along the route! Use the provided waste bins and don’t litter! Restoring the event location to its original condition is a significant task, and we thank you for helping us with this!
