38th SPAR Budapest Marathon® Festival, Saturday Distances, Further Useful Information:

On the Race Day: Always pay attention to the event’s loudspeaker announcements! Some things may change or modify on the race day, and this is the way we can inform you. On the race day, a loudspeaker will be operating around the finish area, solely for announcing official race communications. It is not intended for runners seeking lost relatives or friends.

Meeting Point: At the race center, we will set up visible ‘Meeting Point’ signs from afar, so that fellow runners, schoolmates, relatives, and supporters can find each other around them. If you came to the race with a group or class, this is a reliable spot to reunite even in the midst of a large crowd. Before the start, coordinate with fellow runners and supporters to determine the exact meeting place after the race.

Information: You can meet a dedicated information team at every event, who can help you not only with the specific race but also guide you about other BSI events. If you’re interested in details about other BSI races or want to register for further running or walking distances throughout the year, you’ll find the BSI Information Tent near the Race Center.

Lost Children: For children who have become separated from their parents in the hustle and bustle of the event, you can get information at the Information Tent. Please reach out to them for assistance, rather than the staff working at the main stage. If you find a lost child, lead them to the Information Tent. Beforehand, you can request a wristband at the Information Tent, on which you can write the mobile number to call if you find a lost child. After writing the phone number, place the wristband on the child’s wrist!

Runner’s Etiquette:

Arrive on time! – To avoid queuing at the race center and dressing rooms, have time to meet long-lost friends or encounter new acquaintances and fellow runners.

Don’t let a runner without a bib number run alongside you who hasn’t registered for the race! It’s not fair to those who paid to participate.

If you’re running with a few other participants, don’t block the entire width of the road. If you hear someone coming to overtake, step aside as soon as possible and let them pass.

Please maintain cleanliness in the race center area and along the route! Use the provided waste bins and don’t litter! Restoring the event location to its original condition is a significant task, and we thank you for helping us with this!
