The most important rule is that in order to participate in the event, you will have to download, print a Health Declaration Form, sign it, and fill in with your data.
There will be places where wearing a mask will be compulsory.
Read about the anti-COVID rules here.

Bib number pick up

You can pick-up your bib number in the opening hours of the Race Center:

  • Friday, 9 October, between 12:00-18:00
  • Saturday, 10 October, between 07:00-18:00
  • Sunday, 11 October, between 07:00-08:30

Stand at any table that frees up.

To pick up your bib number, you must have:

  • your registration confirmation with you (either printed or the confirmation email on your phone)
  • and your Health Declaration Form signed and filled in with all your data. You can download the form from HERE.

Should you miss any of the above, we will not be able to give your bib number.

If you don’t have the confirmation email with you, please find the ’Replacing lost registration confirmation’ table. Please show your valid, unexpired photo ID document to our colleague, who will issue a card for you with which you will be able to pick up your bib number. Please note that this option is only for collecting your own bib.

To collect the bib number of another runner, you must show:

  • his/her registration confirmation email
  • and his/her Health Declaration Form, signed and filled in with all the required data.

Don’t you know your bib number? Find it next to your name here, at the start list.

Relay runners get two kinds of bibs:

  1. An INDIVIDUAL BIB: this bib includes the team bib number and the index number of the team member
    • this bib must be clearly visible at all times during the race, worn on the front.
    • If the first team member participates in the individual half marathon race in addition to the relay race, wearing this bib is not necessary.
  2. A RELAY BIB: this bib includes the team bib number and the fact that it is a relay race bib.
    • This bib has the timing chip on it.
    • This bib has to be handed over to the next runner
    • This bib has to be worn by the actual runner on the back – with the help of a bib holding belt that runners get when picking up their bib.
    • This bib contains all the necessary information regarding the relay exchange stations and the relay race

Pace Runners

If you think you won’t be able to run at a predetermined speed, several pace runners aiming for different goal times and paces can help you realize your goals.
We choose all of our pace runners very carefully, all of them are experienced runners and they are able to surpass their own interests and do everything for the runners who are following them and trust them. They think instead of the runners, check the time regularly and encourage others.
Although they are intended to help Marathon runners reaching the finish line, you can join them too anytime. Look for them in the starting zones. You can always spot them from afar by the beach flags on their back (with their goal race pace and goal finish time). Find the pace that best suits you:

Time measurement

The time measurement service provider at the race is AGNI-Timing.
The UHF chip will be located at the back of the team’s RELAY BIB. Consequently, it is essential that you wear the bib correctly: well visibly on your chest without folding it.
Failure to do so may result in a 10-minute time penalty.

Bib number rules

Time measurement is done with the help of timing mats (antennas) placed on the ground, that detects the transmitter placed in the bib number from a distance of about 2-3 meters. Time-stamping occurs at a strong signal only (when passing over the carpet).

To have a successful time measurement of the run, please abide by the following rules:

            • Relay runners get the timing chip attached to the team’s RELAY BIB, that must be worn on the waist. This bib has to be handed over to the next runner at the relay exchange station.
            • The INDIVIDUAL BIB must be worn visibly throughout the race, around the abdomen/chest. Bib number holding belt is allowed and recommended!
            • The bib number must not be hidden or folded.
            • The chip on the back of the bib number should not be removed, folded, or punctured with the safety pin.
            • Make sure to wear your own bib number during the race.
            • Once arriving at the finish line, please leave the measuring point as soon as possible.
