Never have so many runners registered for the Budapest Marathon and Half Marathon with just under a half a year before the start. Even compared to 2014, which saw record participation, entries are up to 50 percent higher by the end of May compared to a year earlier. Individual entrants for the Sept 13 Wizz Air Budapest Half Marathon, already number nearly 5,000, and almost 50 percent increase compared to last year.
